2024 League Cup
PS7's 2025 League Cup will be a 16 player 4 round knockout competition which will see 1 winner lift the League Cup trophy (or donate equivalent value to charity should they choose) and they and a second player will qualify for our 2025 Summer Tournament Euro Super 7. If they have already qualified through the Super Cup then the next highest placed players will qualify.
The players who have qualified for the opening round of the 2025 League Cup are as follows...
Michael Clarke
Steve Pengelly
Tom Barlow-Taylor
David Burtenshaw
Ben Knock
Ross Arnell-Smith
Luke Bradford
Callum Henson
Irwin Naidoo
Matt Hill
Shane Moore
Adam McNulty
Alison Rajkumar
Brad Cartwright
Robert McBride
Brett Bainbridge
These players were the top 16 in PS7's 2024/25 Platinum League as of the conclusion of Week 05.
In the event a player receives a red card in the league by the conclusion of Week 10, then a player 17th or lower in the league as of Week 5 will take their place. In the event less than 16 players are able to compete, some players will receive a BYE.
For each round, the normal league rules apply based on 7 matches chosen with 7 predictions needed and an exact score prediction. Effectively the points awarded are the same. So 1 for each correct prediction and 3 for the exact score, 1.5 pts being awarded if one part of the exact score is successfully predicted. See Section 4 of the rules for more into @ https://ps7league.com/rules. Also see Section 12 for how cup results order is also determined.
An added feature to cup competitions is that each player will be drawn either a home team or an away team, based on the featured match and their draw position and after all results are considered, if their players are still tied, the player who wins the round will be the one whose drawn team wins.
Meanwhile, as each Round will feature a number of cup related rounds, some potentially going to extra time and PENS on the night, the Home/Away/Draw prediction will be the result after 90 minutes + injury time with the FEATURED score being the exact score at 90 minutes + injury time.
For The Round of 16 the featured match was Tottenham Hotspur v Manchester City. Make sure you're getting your emails and Whatsapp to get everything you need for the Quarter Finals but sub-links will also be posted here (see the sub-link section) and at (ps7league.com).
As some fixtures are also played mid week, whilst the deadline for submissions will be the usual Friday, confirmation of results could be delayed for some time, with the following week's league reminders being sent at the usual time.

Further Rules...
Players who qualify/progress for the first/next rounds, who then fail to submit an entry for the round they qualified/progressed to, will receive the corresponding due card award. Their opponent will be awarded a BYE to the next round. In the event 2 players face each other do the same, other runners up with the best results could progress, or players from previous rounds could progress, or players highest placed in the league who didn't originally qualify could progress. League players who are carded between rounds, but who progressed to another round, will also have their corresponding cup place replaced by another qualifying player.
In the event one of the 7 selected matches are postponed or abandoned, in the event this creates a points tie between 2 players and a winner can't be determined by the normal league order rules, PS7 will select another match prior to the next round for the 2 players to compete in. It will be game prediction, plus exact score as well as home player drawn home team and away player away and then whoever wins that tiebreaker will progress.
Please also note Rule 10 for Stewards Enquiries which can be raised in the event players wish to query published results. Prize confirmation and delivery is expected to occur in late March 2025.
